Calibration of HV probes and current clamps

For calibration of wideband high voltage probes ans current clamps, there is a necessary condition: The rise time of the voltage or current test pulses must be as fast as nanoseconds. To get the usable bandwidth of the d.u.t., the product of observed rise time x bandwidth = 350 can be used with sufficient accuracy. The rise time is to be inserted in nanoseconds and the bandwidth in MHz.

The devices introduced here will be useful for a quick check, a precise adjustment as well as the calibration of oscilloscope probes and current clamps. A traceable calibration of these instruments is possible.
